The bigger the sleeves the better

Whether you're a fan or not really sure, no one can deny the way statement sleeves have dominated this season's trends. Personally, I'm a fan (duh!) - my Instagram is covered with sleeves that are both big and bold, and believe me there's more to come!

Yes I do get asked if I can eat soup with them and the answer is probably no (I'm so messy it's unreal) but hey, we're coming into Spring, who needs soup anyway?

I must admit I fell in love slightly with this blouse when I saw it on someone else in Gingham, but the white drew me in and I can think of so many ways to style it. One real key thing to remember when styling statement sleeves is to let the sleeves do the talking and keep the rest of the outfit fairly understated - a pair of jeans and a cute bag is pretty much all you need!

This particular blouse is both amazing and damn right annoying though - it was really windy when I shot this look and not being terribly gifted in the boob department made me feel a little exposed when the wind caught the top - also it really is quite low cut and you have to adjust reguarly. That being said, I think it's worth it for the look it gives and in summer, with a bikini underneath, I probably won't care so much!

How are you wearing statement sleeves this season? I'd love to know!
